Azul Azul
This Bolivian band was born on the streets of Santa Cruz in the 90's, originally called Grupo AZUL, and mostly played for birthdays, weddings, and local discos until in 1995 when they recorded their first album, "El Corte de la Banana" and changed their name to Azul Azul.
The main force of the group is Fabio Zambrana, who serves as writer, manager and vocalist of the group, and setting their characteristic fun sound, with the band currently including Marcos Antonio Justiniano Lea Plaza, Luis Fernando "Nandy" Justiniano Suárez, Wilson Choque y Martín Espada.
The music is mostly a mixture styles such as pop, cumbias, reggetón, hip-hop and merengue, but with bits of 50's rock, metal, and baladas mixed in, together with humorous lyrics.
Their biggest album to date is "El Sapo", winning gold and platinum awards, and featuring the hit "La Bomba". Read more on Last.fm. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
